SITUATION
An oil rig in the Danish North sea, was experiencing a constant loss of fluids in their CIP Tank (clean in place tank). The fiberglass tank didn’t have the right structural support, so cracks were created in the joints of walls and floor.
SOLUTION
LINE-X XS-350 was sprayed 2.5 mm (1/8 inch) thick onto the fiberglass with tenacious adhesion.
AFTER APPLICATION
The coating of LINE-X was completed in 2 hours and back in service soon after with no change in daily operations.
